“We are committed to developing and providing a fully sustainable living solution for people who experience trauma and mental ill-health to recover in a nurturing non clinical environment.”
Our first Wellness & Recovery Centre will be built in a beautiful bush land setting in the state of Victoria - Australia.
We will support those living with mental ill-health to have access to residential support in a beautiful natural setting including holistic healthcare and somatic therapies, a community garden, fresh local produce, an on-site cafe and function centre and a place to provide residents and visitors with the opportunity to work and train within their means.
This supports people in recovery to learn new skills and experience enhanced self-worth as they progress along their journey.
Our facilities will be open to the community and we intend to provide local jobs and promote a strong volunteering network.
We believe community engagement is key to helping people with the lived experience of mental ill-health to feel included and connected to society.
Holistic recovery also takes a community-based approach. Socially inclusive activities such as studying, working and living independently play an important role in a person’s recovery. By working with each resident to develop their own treatment program, we help them to make long-term positive changes to their well-being, gain their independence and move back into the greater community.
Our model of care is simple. We empower individuals to take charge of their recovery journey by providing integrated healthcare services, and training and work opportunities, all combined in a safe and natural healing environment.
Residents have the time and space to heal while living a contributing life in a therapeutic community setting, giving them the opportunity to learn new skills
and experience enhanced self-worth as they recover.
Our values reflect not only the work we do, but the people we are. We believe in and uphold the principles of integrity, respect, compassion, excellence, leadership, and innovation.
